Job Summary

This role is an opportunity to expand your skills in healthcare through functioning as part of a collaborative treatment team. You will provide a safe and supportive environment for patients while assisting with their recovery needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff, and management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
  • Perform various functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting patient autonomy, dignity, and health from diverse backgrounds
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free environment by observing and documenting patient behavior, conducting room searches, reporting unsafe conditions, and applying emotional and physical support
  • Provide and document interventions tailored to individual patient needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required; two years of Behavioral Health experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Obtain Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor registration within 60 days of hire
  • Hold Nursing Assistant Registered or CNA certification prior to start date
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification
  • Self-identify as a consumer who has received mental health services and demonstrate at least one year of mental health recovery
  • Be eligible for Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor registration
  • Minimum one year of direct patient care experience preferred
