Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated CT Imaging Specialist to become a vital member of our healthcare team. This role involves a unique schedule of 7 days on, followed by 7 days off, during the night shift from 7pm to 7am. As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting and completing diagnostic computed tomography examinations with professionalism and compassion. Your duties will include administering contrast agents, preparing and positioning patients for scans, and ensuring clear communication with both patients and fellow staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT scans while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast media as required for imaging procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for examinations.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, along with relevant college or technical training.
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Active licensure from the Florida Department of Health (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CT Imaging Specialist, ideally in an acute-care hospital environment.
