Cedar Creek Hospital is seeking a qualified Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to patients and staff. This includes preparing salads and cold foods, maintaining clean and sanitary work areas, and following Department of Public Health regulations to ensure food quality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving food on patient tray lines and in the cafeteria to meet the dietary needs of patients and staff.
  • Maintaining sanitation standards and following Department of Public Health regulations to ensure food quality.
  • Preparing diets and food requisitions, obtaining accurate patient, staff, and guest meal counts.
  • Following dietary and hospital safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Treating patients and staff courteously to better serve their dietary needs.
  • Meeting hospital attendance policy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • On-the-job training will be provided, although some food preparation experience is helpful.
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions to operate food service equipment and follow direction.
  • Able to complete assigned tasks to provide an efficient, safe, sanitary, attractive, and orderly facility.
