About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' care needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide and coordinate nursing care to individuals and groups of patients, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Teach patients and their families about discharge and after-care planning needs, and provide milieu management.
• Create a safe and secure environment for patients and staff in both individual and group settings.
• Document, report, and verify all necessary information according to established policies and procedures.
• Monitor for and report to physicians any potential risks to patients' safety that could lead to adverse outcomes.
• Provide customer-friendly care by following quality improvement standards, maintaining professionalism, and initiating and maintaining positive relationships with departments/programs, coworkers, and external customers.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in the state of Michigan, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• May be required to have professional knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory, as required through completion of education from an accredited school of nursing.
• Satisfactory previous clinical experience.
