**Job Overview**

The U.S. Army, Pacific seeks a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join their team in Alaska. As an integral member of the 4th Brigade HHC 25th ID Augmentation, Holistic Health and Fitness Performance Team, you will play a crucial role in maximizing Soldier performance and improving unit readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to adult populations.
  • Develop programs to optimize performance behaviors or mitigate injury risk.
  • Perform evaluations in various areas, including physical, psychological, cognitive, activities of daily living (ADLs), functional and adaptive skills, and work and occupational role performance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement goal-oriented group and/or behavioral-focused individual treatment programs.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities and integrative techniques and technologies.
  • Participate on an interdisciplinary team to coordinate rehabilitation or wellness activities for individual Soldiers or groups of Soldiers with the brigade.

Requirements:

  1. A graduate degree from an accredited program in occupational therapy, approved by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
  2. Pass the national examination administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  3. At least one full year of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist, performing evaluations, implementing therapeutic modalities, and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
