Job Title: Dental Hygienist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at CAI. As a key member of our oral health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning on patients
  • Instruct patients in preventive dental techniques
  • Assist a high number of patients as required
  • Work collaboratively with dentists, assistants, student assistants, and volunteers

Requirements:

  • Current Florida Dental Hygiene license
  • Current/active CPR certificate
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and hygiene principles
  • Skills using dental instruments and equipment
  • Ability to instruct patients and work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
  • Pediatric experience highly preferred
  • Experience using EagleSoft and HMS computer systems
  • Experience working in the Public Health System

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
  • Sedentary work with occasional need to move around the office
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer
