We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Developer to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As an Atlassian Developer, you will be responsible for managing user permissions, testing new versions of tools, and maintaining Jira projects and workflows.

• Manage user permissions for tools according to project and team needs
• Test new versions of tools and plugins to ensure compatibility
• Maintain Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and users in the latest Jira environment
• Configure and maintain multiple Jira projects, workflows, schemes, settings, users, and reports
• Document standards, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for admins and users
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to define requirements, design solutions, and test implementations
• Work with Jira filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and Jira administration
• Improve Jira security by setting access permissions for Jira projects and Confluence spaces
• Provide training to technical and non-technical teams on Atlassian tools

• Experience supporting and customizing Jira to meet diverse user needs
• Advanced understanding of Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens schemes, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a complex environment
• Experience designing content management and data taxonomies
• Experience setting and managing user permissions
• Experience with troubleshooting, identifying issues, and driving them to resolution

• DoD IAT Level II certification
• 5+ years of experience supporting and customizing Jira
• Quality Assurance
• Prior experience training, coaching, and working directly with end users
