The Program Manager will oversee the daily operational activities of the design program. This role involves providing leadership and direction to a team to ensure that technology initiatives are delivered efficiently and effectively to users. The manager will ensure that programs and projects align with the overall technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Initiative Oversight:

Manage Information Technology initiatives for the designated program. Allocate resources to project teams to achieve deliverables.

Policy Adherence:

Ensure compliance with established policies, standards, and guidelines governing IT systems.

Program Management:

Supervise the team and activities within the assigned program to maintain consistent processes and quality standards.

Program Execution:

Oversee staff supporting specific IT functions. Responsibilities include managing daily operations related to the assigned IT functions. Engage with peer supervisors and IT Portfolio Managers to fulfill customer requirements.

Project and Program Management:

Plan, oversee, and implement the delivery of technology projects or services. Manage staff assignments and priorities. Develop training plans for team members and establish procedures, processes, and best practices. Provide strategic planning for program areas and recommend new technologies.

Strategic Direction:

Collaborate with peers and subordinates to define the strategic direction for the assigned technology program. Assess tools and prioritize work efforts with stakeholders from IT and business units.

Process Enhancement:

Identify business processes that can be optimized through technology solutions. Develop processes and tools to improve efficiency.

Reporting Duties:

Deliver status reports on project plans, timelines, schedules, and progress updates. Engage in strategic planning for programs, projects, or systems.

Compliance Assurance:

Manage compliance and ensure that staff adhere to necessary policies and procedures.

Operational Improvement:

Track operational metrics for assigned IT functions and utilize these metrics to enhance specific processes.

Required Skills:

Proven ability to supervise technical staff and manage multiple complex projects. Minimum of 10 years of experience required.

Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with diverse audiences. Minimum of 10 years of experience required.

Experience in interacting with internal and external customers and developing work plans. Minimum of 10 years of experience required.
