Job Summary:
Soliant Health is seeking highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join our team in a school district in Oakland, CA. As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in providing direct therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of up to 50 students, utilizing evidence-based practices to support student growth and development.
- Assist with speech and language assessments and evaluations, working closely with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to develop comprehensive therapy plans.
- Collaborate with SLPs to implement therapy plans and monitor student progress, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development of tailored education plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
- Document therapy sessions and student outcomes accurately, maintaining detailed records to inform future therapy plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Availability to start immediately and commit to working through the duration of the assignment.
