About the Role

We are a mid-sized manufacturing company located in Erie, PA seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to drive our pricing strategy and contribute to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all pricing activities for all accounts, ensuring the most competitive and profitable pricing strategies are implemented.
  • Represent the pricing department in all quoting meetings, ensuring all pricing-related issues and concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and analyze customer and product margin/profit reports, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive profitability and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to develop and execute effective pricing strategies.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and changes in pricing strategies.
  • Utilize JD Edwards or ERP System to manage and analyze pricing data effectively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of pricing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to other team members on pricing strategies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing pricing, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards or ERP System.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex pricing information to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the most favorable pricing for the company.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage pricing activities for multiple accounts.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
