Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to children in ambulatory settings, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and promote positive outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and research to provide evidence-based care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within one month of hire
  • Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
Working Conditions

This role requires prolonged standing, walking, and use of sight, hearing, and touch. May be exposed to infectious diseases and physical, mental, and emotional illness.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
