Job Description:

This full-time position reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for facilitating and performing the basic functions of the AchieveKids payroll process. The Payroll Specialist - Accounting Clerk will maintain and monitor the ADP time clock, coordinate with staff and supervisors on time clock corrections, and collaborate with Human Resources in payroll problem resolution.

The successful candidate will also assist in weekly and monthly accounting operations, track billing and collection, including Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable, and prepare various contracts. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in accounting and 3-5 years of payroll experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Ability to plan ahead, multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
• Criminal record background clearance

Salary Range: $55K - $70K per year
