Los Altos Surgery Center Anaheim is seeking a skilled Ophthalmology Pre-Op/PACU Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient surgery setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing ophthalmic surgery, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
- 1 year of experience in ophthalmic nursing or critical care/recovery care experience.
- Current California RN License and ACLS/BLS certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive hourly rate: $64.00 per hour.
