The Senior Financial Analyst for Retail Pharmacy Operations plays a crucial role within the Pricing and Guarantees support team, integrated into the Supply Chain division.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and analysis for retail pharmacy network negotiations.
- Oversee all elements of pharmacy contractual guarantees.
- Perform routine evaluations on guarantee performance and provide pricing recommendations to management to ensure compliance with guarantees.
- Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analytical insights as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the senior manager of financial analysis within the team.
- Execute financial modeling for all retail network contract negotiations involving chain and independent pharmacies.
- Effectively communicate modeling outcomes to business partners and address inquiries.
- Offer pricing and analytical support for new contracting initiatives.
- Monitor contracted and projected retail payable rates in alignment with corporate financial objectives.
- Manage pharmacy pricing strategies to fulfill contractual guarantees.
- Review pharmacy contracts to ensure all guarantees are accurately accounted for.
- Track and adjust pricing and reporting related to pharmacy guarantee performance.
- Input and maintain provider rates in the adjudication system.
- Analyze and identify performance trends and variances.
- Provide cross-functional support to internal business partners through various ad hoc projects.
- A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, ideally in mathematics, business, accounting, or finance.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in business analysis, modeling, pricing, or data management is preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently while meeting deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- A solid understanding of other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with data extraction and analysis using SQL and Teradata is advantageous.
- Ability to prepare and present concepts and proposals to all management levels.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
For remote work, a reliable internet connection is required, with a minimum speed of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
