Senior Cloud Engineer

The Role:

Fidelity Investments is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Universal Identity Platform (UID) team. The successful candidate will have strong experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cloud Architecture: Designing and implementing cloud-based architectures that meet the needs of millions of Fidelity customers.
  • Cloud Migration: Leading the migration of existing applications to the cloud, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Cloud Security: Ensuring the security and integrity of cloud-based data and applications.
  • Cloud Monitoring: Monitoring cloud-based systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

The Expertise?and Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
  • Strong experience with AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The Team

Our Universal Identity team is building a new cloud-native Digital Identity Platform to enable the differentiated Fidelity customer experience. We focus on delivering end-to-end cloud-native digital solutions where scalability, stability, and security are our highest priority. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be applying your strong cloud engineering skills to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Fidelity customer data management solutions.
