We are a mission-based business dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in various settings, including small group residential settings, community-based day programs, and supported person's homes. Our offices are located in Fairfax and Prince William Counties, where these positions would be based.

Job Summary

We are currently hiring Licensed Clinicians, such as LPCs, LCSWs, BCBAs, and BCaBAs, to serve as Licensed Behavior Specialists. If you enjoy expanding your skills, want a collaborative work environment, and are capable of supporting people with significant behavioral challenges, this position may be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis stabilization to supported persons and ensure their health and safety
  • Provide Therapeutic Consultation Services to supported persons in accordance with company policies and procedures and Virginia Licensing and Medicaid requirements
  • Develop behavior plans
  • Implement positive behavior supports to include assessing and restructuring the environment to decrease maladaptive behaviors and increase adaptive behaviors
  • Train and evaluate staff on behavior plans

  • Annual salary up to $80,000, depending on credentials and experience

Requirements
  • Position requires at a minimum: BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or a related area from an accredited college or university
  • Three years of documented experience working with special needs and challenging behaviors, particularly with the ID/DD population
  • Experience in developing behavior plans; MA/MS preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Documentation of experience working with/developing behavior plans with special needs populations is REQUIRED
  • Significant experience working with ABA-based supports or in an environment that is committed to positive behavioral supports
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends and be able to respond to crisis situations
