Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will apply your expertise and clinical judgment to deliver both direct and indirect patient care. Your role will include:
- Engaging in educational initiatives for patients, families, and staff.
- Ensuring safety and best practices in all patient care activities.
- Staying updated with the latest standards and practices in professional nursing.
Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to primary duties, you may be required to:
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Serve as a charge nurse when designated.
- Assign patient care responsibilities based on staff skills and patient needs.
- Guide and mentor staff as necessary.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A valid RN license for the State of Texas or a current compact state license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems.
- A consistent work history with previous employers.
Salary Range:
$30-$45 per hour
