Respiratory Therapist

At Del Sol Medical Center, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment for our team members. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, and adults.
- Assess patient responses to medication, side effects, and proper dosages used in respiratory care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain strict infection control techniques at all times.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and provide inservices for peers and staff.
- Current Texas license for Respiratory Care Practitioner required on hire.
- Graduate of COARC-approved courses in Respiratory Therapy.
- Minimum 6 months acute hospital experience required.
- One year hospital experience preferred.
- Adult critical care experience preferred.
