Job Title: Exercise Physiologist II

Sutter Health is seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist II to join our team in Santa Cruz, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Exercise Physiologist II to work in our Cardiology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cardiac diagnostic testing, including EKG and Cardiac Stress Testing, and providing exercise prescriptions for patients based on test data and patient status.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cardiac diagnostic testing, including EKG and Cardiac Stress Testing
  • Provide exercise prescriptions for patients based on test data and patient status
  • Monitor patient responses to exercise and adjust programs as needed
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals through the electronic medical record
  • Recognize contraindications to exercise and respond appropriately
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
  • 2 years recent relevant experience
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • ACLS required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EKG/Stress Testing experience

We offer a competitive salary range of $50.34 to $50.34 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
