Job Overview

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional therapy services to students in schools. This part-time, school-based position in Sharon, WI, requires a passionate and dedicated professional to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings.


The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is essential, as is strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team is also crucial.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student's speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs
  • Monitor student's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports
