Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Doylestown Health. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications and related products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and Dispense Medications: Accurately verify and dispense medications to patients, ensuring that all prescriptions are filled correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Exercise Legal and Professional Controls: Exercise applicable legal and professional controls on controlled and non-controlled substances, maintaining and dispensing them as needed.
  • Provide Clinical Services: Effectively participate in clinical services provided by the department, including monitoring drug therapy and providing drug information to healthcare professionals.
  • Meet Administrative Requirements: Meet administrative and miscellaneous requirements of the department, including using technology and automation to support patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited College of Pharmacy with a BS or Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy.
  • Licensure: Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of State Bureau of Occupational and Professional Affairs.
  • Experience: Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Skills: Good written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to analyze and interpret complicated information; basic computer skills; versatility; time management; and self-confidence.
