Established Mechanical Contractor known for high quality work is seeking a skilled motivated individual for the position of HVAC Service Manager for their commercial and residential HVAC Service and minor contracting department.

Job Summary

This position requires a self-motivated individual with comprehensive knowledge of HVAC and mechanical work. Prior management experience is preferred but not mandatory, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced field technician to advance into company management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC-related issues
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Review and document work-related activities
  • Interact with customers and employees to ensure excellent customer service
  • Travel to local sites to inspect and manage HVAC-related work
  • Manage a team of HVAC technicians and support staff
  • Meet with county inspectors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Perform other tasks associated with service and installation work

Requirements

  • Extensive light commercial and residential HVAC experience
  • Familiarity with basic computer use
  • Ability to climb ladders and access various building sites
  • Valid driver's license with no significant negative incidents
  • Ability to work extended hours
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Desire to ensure high-quality workmanship
