About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team at STERIS. As a Medical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of medical equipment in various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Installation Project Managers to schedule product installation and ensure timely completion.
  • Verify rough-in dimensions and utilities to ensure equipment specifications are met.
  • Perform installation of STERIS products, including uncrating, assembling, and testing.
  • Complete service documentation electronically and ensure customer satisfaction through post-installation activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of recent mechanical experience in a construction or HVAC installation/repair field.
  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or similar degree, plus 1+ year(s) of related mechanical experience.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills, excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills, and proficiency in computers and Windows software.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple and changing priorities, ability to work flexible hours, and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
