Compensation
$ /hr based on prior experience.
PRN differential $2.50/hr.
Evening differential $2.00/hr.
Night differential $2.50/hr.
Weekend differential $2.50/hr.
The Labor Delivery Recovery (LDR) unit consists of 16 beds, complemented by a 6-bed OB Emergency Department, 4 antenatal testing rooms, and 2 cesarean section suites.
The LDR team engages in AIM initiatives, PPH protocols with QBL, Severe HTN protocols, and Team Birth, along with various other process enhancement initiatives.
Each shift is led by a charge nurse to ensure coordinated care. Daily safety huddles and bedside shift reports are integral to our unit's culture. We adhere closely to AWHONN staffing standards to guarantee safe patient care. The LDR unit is recognized as a Center of Excellence in Advanced Perinatal Care Certification (ACPC), accredited by The Joint Commission. Our OBED is nationally accredited through CIHQ and stands as the only accredited OBED in the nation. The OBED is staffed continuously by two nurses and an OB Hospitalist. New graduates are welcomed and supported through our nationally accredited nurse residency program. Join our dedicated teamResponsibilities:
Assist the surgeon throughout the surgical procedure.
Ensure a safe and sterile environment within the Operating Room.
Qualifications:
Education
Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, national certification in surgical technology, or five (5) consecutive years of training/experience as a surgical tech, or LPN with one year of surgical tech training is preferred.
A minimum of one year of Labor Delivery Recovery experience, including assistance in Cesarean Sections (in addition to managing the mayo), is required within the last five years.
Licensure / Certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for the duration of employment.
Current Oklahoma LPN license, if applicable.
National certification is preferred.
