We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a Charge RN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical department, providing exceptional patient care, and leading a team of dedicated nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and evaluating patients' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Supervise and mentor a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- RN license in state of hire and wherever care is provided upon hire
- 1 year nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
