**Job Description:**
The Associate Director of Finance is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of accounting operations in accordance with policies and procedures, Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
They will supervise and coordinate the daily operation of Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Journal, General Cashiering, Taxes, and internal controls. The position will also assist and support the Area Director of Finance in maintaining control over income, expenses, and assets and liabilities of the hotel.
- Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashier, and Night Audit employees.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
- Analyze and reconcile all general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
- Assist in compiling and preparing annual budgets, forecasts, taxes, and other financial reports.
**Responsibilities:**
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze activities or information involving original data manipulation or interpretation. They must be able to make decisions guided by established policies and procedures.
