Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of various programs.
- Organize, compile, and manage data for database entry.
- Distribute program-related information and conduct necessary research.
- Handle incoming calls, providing information, taking messages, or directing calls appropriately.
- Welcome visitors and engage with customers, staff, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with other departments, community members, and program partners to coordinate activities.
- Aid in the development and dissemination of program materials, forms, and correspondence.
- Monitor and report on trends to identify future program needs.
- Provide training specific to the program as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Problem Solving
Individuals in this role are expected to be knowledgeable about departmental policies and procedures, as well as the broader organizational structure, to effectively assist staff and visitors. Sensitivity to the needs of others is crucial, along with a commitment to providing helpful support.

Work Environment
The position typically involves an office setting, with frequent requirements for sitting, listening, and verbal communication. Repetitive tasks such as typing and walking may also be part of the role.

Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (one year of education may substitute for two years of related work experience) is required.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Proficiency in logic and reasoning to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field may be advantageous.
