Grand View Health is in search of a dedicated and compassionate Radiologic Imaging Specialist to enhance our imaging department. The Radiologic Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting imaging procedures using specialized equipment for diagnostic and treatment purposes, focusing on patient safety and care. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to perform various imaging modalities, including X-Ray, Mammography, and Dexa, catering to a diverse patient population, including emergency and surgical cases, as well as inpatients and outpatients. This role requires effective communication and quick decision-making in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Determine appropriate technical parameters based on established protocols to ensure high-quality imaging results. Position patients according to established guidelines to optimize diagnostic outcomes. Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care. Conduct quality assurance checks on all imaging studies prior to interpretation to guarantee the accuracy of information and manage all studies in the PACS system. Maintain equipment functionality by performing routine warm-up and quality control procedures. Calibrate imaging devices and execute necessary quality control tasks daily to ensure operational integrity. Provide clear procedural instructions to patients before examinations to ensure understanding and comfort. Review the daily schedule to enhance operational efficiency and reduce patient wait times. Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, with a Saturday rotation. No holiday or on-call duties required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program is required.

Licenses and Certifications:
ARRT Certification in Mammography upon hire is mandatory.
ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology upon hire is also required.
