Anchorage, Alaska, United States Travel Nurse Across America Full time

We're seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room RN to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CVOR RN, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in circulating for cardiothoracic surgical procedures and other complex surgeries.

Responsibilities:

* Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs before, during, and after surgical procedures.
* Participate in the care of patients receiving conscious sedation.
* Administer prescribed medications, apply dressings, and monitor vital signs.
* Assist physicians during procedures.
* Maintain aseptic techniques and actively monitor situations that could lead to breaches in aseptic technique.
* Coordinate the operating room with respect to sterility, cleanliness, availability of functioning equipment, and supplies.
* Ensure proper handling of specimens.

Requirements:

* ACLS, BLS, 2 Years

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

As a CVOR Travel Nurse, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. You should also be able to easily lift 20 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
