Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching and employee stock purchase plan.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for operating standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.

  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
  • Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
  • Current ARRT registration or eligibility to register within one year of completing program.
  • BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
