Responsibilities- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the maintenance department, ensuring efficient workflow and minimal equipment downtime.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain production equipment to meet safety and efficiency standards, and establish preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
- Employee Performance: Assess employee work performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement individual training plans using SMART goals.
- Training and Development: Administer training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met.
- Team Leadership: Oversee maintenance mechanics, tool crib attendant, and electro-mechanical personnel, ensuring all employees work in compliance with Pactiv policies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of related experience, including supervisory experience, required.
- Electrical Background: Electrical background with PLC's is ideal.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and correct issues with PLCs, HMI displays, safety/operational interlocks, photo eyes, control circuits, drives, and servos.
- Computer Skills: Computer skills and knowledge of collaboration tools required.
- Language Skills: Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
