Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time basis. As an LPN, you will provide direct personal care services to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met in a timely and dignified manner.
Responsibilities- Provide skilled personal assistance with bathing, dressing, oral care, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
- Administer medication to residents in accordance with state regulations and training standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care, including medication charts and nursing notes.
- Assess and respond to resident needs, including falls, skin tears, wounds, and emergency situations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other staff members to ensure seamless care and support.
- Participate in staff education meetings and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Current certification and good standing as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Kansas.
- Successful completion of Home of the Flint Hills LLC Orientation and Training Programs.
- Ability to lift, bend, squat, kneel, twist, and push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
