As a Cardiac Nurse Lead FT Days, you'll play a vital role in our healthcare team, providing direct nursing care and coordinating patient care with other disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Monitor patient vital signs, telemetry monitors, and EKG interpretations, and take appropriate action as needed.
- Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and procedures.
- Administer medications and provide patient education on medication management.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of RN experience, preferably in a cardiac or telemetry setting.
