About the Role

As a Surgical Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the surgical team to optimize positive surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities include assisting the surgeon and surgical team during procedures, maintaining proper sterile technique, and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.

This is a 1.0 FTE full-time position working on a day shift, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Requirements
  • Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the CAAHEP or ABHES, or completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp.
  • Active certification by the NBSTSA, JCAHPO, or NCCT, or completion of 16 hours of continuing education every two years.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
