Job Title: RN Med/Surg Gynecology, Urology, Plastics - Day/Evening

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg Gynecology, Urology, Plastics unit at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Job Summary:

This is a 36-hour per week, day/evening shift position with a variable schedule, including every other weekend rotation and some holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience in tracheostomy and surgical care, with a strong background in gynecology, urology, and plastics.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Requirements:
  • Current WI nursing license or compact license from permanent address state
  • 2+ years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital
  • Basic Arrhythmia experience and ability to pass UW Health Telemetry test
