Position Summary: As a PRN Healthcare Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care to clients as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with established nursing standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with interdisciplinary teams to optimize the development and implementation of health programs.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to the planning and evaluation of nursing objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and recommend necessary interventions based on findings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to address the health needs of individuals served.
  • Complete nursing evaluations and reviews within specified timeframes, including medication reviews and health status assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding nursing services.
  • Monitor and manage individual health conditions, reporting any significant changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation and monitoring for adverse effects.
  • Coordinate appointments and follow-ups with specialists and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of nursing assessments and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in nursing, leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • Current and valid nursing license in good standing.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of individual service plans and experience working with diverse populations.
