Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in computed tomography and possess a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. You will be responsible for:

  • Confirming patient identification and reviewing imaging requests
  • Explaining imaging procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required
  • Positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
  • Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
  • Administering radiocontrast agents to patients
  • Evaluating CT scans to determine their technical quality
  • Following safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • 1 year of experience in computed tomography
  • ARRT National certification with registration in computed tomography
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
