About the Role:

Bristow Group is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Helicopter Pilot to join our team in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) region. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our aircraft in support of offshore oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate assigned aircraft in compliance with Bristow operational standards and applicable regulations;
  • Ensure safety and customer service are paramount in all aspects of the job;
  • Manage passenger and aircraft movements, briefings, and baggage loading to ensure safety and compliance;
  • Complete necessary flight planning paperwork, preflight, fueling, and oversight of manifesting to ensure compliance;
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, including journey logs, personal flight and duty sheets, and aircraft technical logbook times;
  • Report aircraft mechanical irregularities and ensure aircraft airworthiness before, during, and after flights;
  • Facilitate communications with customers and represent Bristow in a professional manner;
  • Work primarily in the GOM region but remain available for dispatch to other locations as needed;
  • Stay up-to-date on Bristow operational and safety procedures;
  • Perform other duties as determined by the Lead Pilot/Operations Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Meet minimum requirements outlined by 14 CFR;
  • Hold a 1st class medical certificate;
  • Complete the position's screening questionnaire to determine eligibility;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Be organized and able to work with a large and varied workload;
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team;
  • Hold an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Helicopter Instrument rating.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in the offshore oil and gas environment;
  • ATP;
  • 1,500 hours PIC helicopter;
  • 100 hours offshore;
  • 100 hours within the preceding 12 months.
