Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Project Director to join our team at Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and automation systems.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

About the Role

The Automation Project Director will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple building automation installation projects while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage multiple automation installation projects while remaining organized and on schedule.
  • Maintain project accounting and contracts to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with company members, clients, subcontractors, and other contacts.
  • Anticipate and meet short and unpredictable deadlines.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Recognize and utilize company resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Plan, organize, and carry out assigned job responsibilities within established time parameters.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Continuously seek to improve knowledge of required job skills and stay abreast of industry changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in HVAC control and automation or equivalent industry experience in the NYC Metro area.
  • Extensive computer and automation experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the construction process.
  • Demonstrated track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
  • Competent working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring and schematics.
  • Able to write, edit, and understand sequences of operations.
  • Able to read and understand project drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills to communicate effectively with consulting engineers regarding design, implementation, and commissioning.
  • Preferrable knowledge of Automated Logic controls.
