About the Role:

As a Patient Service Representative Float Imaging, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Imaging Services department. This part-time position requires a strong customer service focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient service, responding to routine requests for information and answering telephone calls.
  • Register patients, obtain demographic and insurance information, and verify insurance coverage.
  • Schedule patient appointments, coordinate cancellations and reschedules, and provide accurate information regarding test preparations and arrival times.
  • Update insurance and patient information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and resolve problems related to registration, communicating with appropriate individuals and departments as needed.
  • Monitor patient flow, ensuring efficient and courteous care.
  • Perform visit closure, checking out patients, scheduling follow-up appointments, and providing visit summaries.
  • May file, retrieve, and deliver patient information and records, completing required forms and documentation.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate.
  • No experience required.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic mail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
