- Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff and seniors. Conduct performance reviews and contribute to the professional development of team members.
- Risk Management: Identify audit risks and develop appropriate response strategies. Ensure compliance with internal controls and risk management procedures.
- Business Development: Participate in business development activities to help expand the firm's client base. Contribute to proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Technical Research and Consultation: Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices. Provide technical guidance and support to clients and staff.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
- Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing. Prior experience in a managerial role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards. Proficiency in accounting and audit software.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management abilities. Ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
