Forklift Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Stand-By Personnel. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate a DP55 CAT forklift equipped with 8 forks to move bricks for shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport bricks within the kiln operation area, load and unload pallets of bricks onto trucks, and storage areas.
  • Ensure bricks are properly stacked and secured for shipping.
  • Routine inspections and maintenance on the forklift are required to keep it in good working condition.
  • Assist with other duties as needed within the kiln operation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating a DP55 CAT forklift or similar equipment.
  • Ability to consistently lift and move heavy loads.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety guidelines.

Work Environment:

The work environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
