At MRG Exams, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our nation's heroes.

About the Role

This part-time position involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and performing comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran. You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal. It is essential to note that the Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; rather, they provide valuable findings that contribute to the Veterans Administration's decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess 4 Veterans per day on average
  • Complete DBQs through the Web Portal
  • Conduct in-person assessments with Veterans
  • Utilize electronic records management system for data entry and review
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program/school
  • An active and unrestricted Psychology license
  • Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
