About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Psychologist to join our team at U of L Physicians. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological services to patients with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to assess patients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to promote patients' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in training and clinical supervision of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Completion of an internship with experience in rehabilitation, health, or neuropsychology.
  • Postdoctoral training and specialty board eligibility are strongly desired.
  • Eligibility for licensure and health service provider status in Kentucky.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with the AHA.
