Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Colorectal Surgery & Urology Unit at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
- Assess patient needs and evaluate their responses to care
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create individualized care plans
- Guide ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards
- Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education
