Aerospace Inspector Opportunity at Acutec Precision Aerospace Inc.

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Inspector to join our team at Acutec Precision Aerospace Inc. in St. Stephen. As an In-Process Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our aerospace parts by using cutting-edge measurement technology to determine if they meet tolerance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow work instructions and use inspection tooling to perform visual inspections of parts throughout the machining process.
  • Identify critical information from drawings, including geometric tolerance and revisions.
  • Use various inspection tooling and gauging, including CMM, Comparator, Microhite, and other hand tools as necessary.
  • Perform dimensional inspections and exchange vital information with machine operators about the quality of parts being manufactured.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and some related experience and training.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in both written and oral form.
  • Ability to perform statistical process control input and interpret statistical data to compensate for machining deviation.
