Job Title: OR Circulating Nurse

Job Summary:

As a Surgical Assistant at Actalent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your primary responsibility will be to assist physicians with surgeries and observe patients, documenting patient care and monitoring changes pre and post-surgery. You will also be responsible for preparing candidates and surgery centers for procedures, collaborating with multiple team members, and ensuring that operating rooms are prepped for surgery. Additionally, you will be responsible for cart prep and processing instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with surgeries and observe patients

Document patient care and monitor changes pre and post-surgery

Prepare candidates and surgery centers for procedures

Collaborate with multiple team members

Ensure operating rooms are prepped for surgery

Cart prep and process instruments

Requirements:

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Basic knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
