Job Title: Early Head Start Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Head Start Teacher to join our team at Joyful Tots Childcare and Learning Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, loving, and healthy environment that fosters the growth and development of our young students.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote intellectual and creative growth in preschool-aged children.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Develop and maintain schedules and routines that ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime for our students.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents on their child's growth and progress, providing regular updates and feedback.
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students, adhering to our center's policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields, with a passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, demonstrating a positive and patient demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and education to our students, with a focus on their overall well-being and development.

Requirements:

  • Must be qualified to work in a childcare setting in the State of Michigan.
  • Must obtain a negative TB test and fingerprint scan.
