ROLE SUMMARY


The Wound Pros LLC is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced wound care to patients in various markets across Illinois, focusing on homebound individuals and those in long-term care facilities. By utilizing Artificial Intelligence, we enhance the speed and efficiency of wound healing.


As part of our mission, you will contribute to healing wounds and preventing amputations in long-term care settings.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience with healthcare technologies, data, and software.
  • Background in cross-functional roles and team collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills, multitasking, and time management.
  • Technical aptitude with a quick learning curve and the ability to teach others.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH AT THE WOUND PROS
  • Become a specialist in treating chronic non-healing wounds, ensuring exceptional patient experiences.
  • Achieve quarterly goals through consistent care and biologic applications for rapid healing.
  • Experience significant personal and leadership growth through our training and education programs.

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Current valid state license to practice as an NP.
  • Prior experience in Wound Care and/or Wound Care Certification.
  • Board Certified with proof of certification.
  • Willingness to travel for training as needed.
  • Patient-centered approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required by Wound Pros.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms.
  • Understanding of federal and state regulations.
  • Capability to lift 50 lbs. or more and full range of mobility.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
  • Select, order, and perform necessary tests and procedures.
  • Implement wound care procedures as per Wound Pros' treatment protocols.
  • Document patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Recommend prescriptions for medications and wound care dressings.
  • Ensure patient satisfaction by adhering to Wound Pros' care standards.
  • Provide patient education and management.
  • Assist with special projects as required.
  • Perform wound debridement safely during patient visits.
  • Apply topical wound care and management products.
  • Document findings and treatment courses in patient charts.
  • Participate in departmental activities to enhance training methods and achieve company objectives.
  • Travel to patients' homes and/or long-term care facilities as necessary.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS


The total compensation potential is up to $150,000.00 annually, with significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement.


As a mobile Clinical Provider, you will conduct initial evaluations and follow-up visits, supported by Wound Care Certified Nurses. Our benefits include:
