Job Summary

Celia Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pump Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our coating department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pump systems, coordinating with maintenance and parts teams, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pump System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on pump systems, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly, as well as replacing seals and noticing thread alignment.
  • Coordination with Maintenance: Work closely with maintenance teams to rebuild pumps, pack bearings, set up new drum and cart systems, and wire new motors.
  • Parts Management: Order extra pump carts and spare parts as needed, and eventually perform all ordering independently.
  • Standard Operating Procedure Development: Collaborate with supervisors to create and update step-by-step SOPs for proper disassembly and reassembly of all pumps and carts.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, heavy-duty air-driven equipment, and tools, including overhead hoist systems.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles and enforcing them within the area.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a manufacturing background preferred.
  • Skills: Good mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, time management, and self-motivation. Ability to work well alone and with a team, and to follow rules and regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift and slide heavy equipment, and work in an environment with industrial solvents and adhesives.
